PPANI 2011 End of Year Awards
Last night at the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois awards ceremony I received the Northern Achievement Award for Photographic Excellence, the highest honor that the association awards for success in photographic image competition. I also received the Orlin Kohli Memorial Award for highest cumulative score of the year; the highest scoring single print of the year; the President’s Award for most individual President’s Awards during the year, and the Northern Fellowship Degree.
Illinois Top 10 Photographer & Kodak Gallery Award
I am excited to announce that I have received the Illinois Top 10 Photographer Award at the APPI 2011 Fall Print Competition, as well as a Kodak Gallery Award, two Judge’s Choice Awards, the ’4 for 4′ Award, Best Wedding Print – First and Second place, Best Portrait – Second Place and Best Black & White – Third Place.

Harmony Hughes
I had the opportunity to do a shoot with up and coming Chicago vocalist Harmony Hughes over the weekend. We were going for a fairly specific look and I think we nailed it!
