It’s also great to try some locations other than the downtown Chicago favorites. Downtown Wheaton was decorated nicely for the holidays, and it was my goal to capture that aspect for Abby and Adam. A fortuitous snowfall the night before (and throughout the day) helped out. Bringing a change of clothes for my evening corporate holiday party shoot turned out to be a good idea — wearing wet jeans all evening would have been unpleasant.

It was one of those days where you weren’t sure if the weather would cooperate, but the rain did hold off long enough to get some great shots.

Yes, this is all in Chicago. Quite close to downtown, in fact. Who would have thought?
