The day started off with some more Osprey photos, but I thought the volunteer work the marines did in Riis Park was great.
We’re doing photos for at least one wedding this summer in the park, so you guys know who to thank. They did a great job cleaning up the place, as well as putting together a great area of pavers around the big flagpole.

The evening featured some great performances by a drum and bugle corps, as well as a silent drill team. The drill team was great – by silent, they really mean silent. Perfectly synchronized, without any verbal commands whatsoever. Not to mention, that’s a real bayonet on the end of that rifle in midair, as best as I can tell. Don’t try this at home.
