Best of Show
My print “The Grand Staircase” earned Best of Show, Best Wedding, and Best Black & White print at the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Illinois print competition yesterday. Ali and Josh were great to work with, and I have high hopes for this print at future, higher-level competitions.
“Blue Balcony Bride” also scored very well, placing second in Weddings and receiving an Award of Excellence in Photography.
2011 International Print Competition
Three of my entries in the Professional Photographers of America 2011 International Print Competition received merits and were entered into the association’s general collection, for display at Imaging USA early next year in New Orleans.
Best of Show
My print “Autumn Leaves” that received some recognition at the PPA Northcentral District competition a few weeks ago did well locally at PPANI, our local PPA affiliate, winning Best of Show, Best Black & White and Best Unclassified. “The Traveler” also received a President’s Award, as did “Pinnacle”, a new one that I have been working on.
