Weddings in Winter
OK, so I tend not to be called upon all that often to photograph weddings at this time of year. It is winter in Chicago, after all. This does give me some time for other business-related pursuits (golf is out as well, unfortunately) — like searching for a new studio space. After much work and reviewing the options available, I think I should be able to come to a final decision fairly soon.
I’m still going to be in the Northbrook area, regardless of which of the possibilities I select. It’s going to be nice to have some more working space!

Abby and Adam
It isn’t usually my first choice to shoot outside in December, but this one worked out really well! It’s also great to try some locations other than the downtown Chicago favorites. Kera and Scott
I’m photographing Kera and Scott’s wedding next year, but we had a great engagement session last weekend. It was one of those days where you weren’t sure if the weather would cooperate, but the rain did hold off long enough to get some great shots.

What’s With Those?
You might have noticed some interesting images in my portfolios and wondered what’s up with them. You know, the ones that just seem to be a different flavor of black and white, or even something like the one to the left.
