Jess and Aaron

We had a great time shooting Jess and Aaron’s wedding over the weekend. Volo Wine Bar in Logan Square is a great place, I only wish it were open when I used to live in the area. Any time I can find street parking in Chicago it’s a good day, so things started off on the right foot.

We did some smiling versions of this shot, but I really liked the serious look to go along with the cross processing.

Some weddings, I just want to do alot of black and white. I can’t always explain it, but sometimes the tonalities and light involved really seem to lend themselves to this approach.
